NOVELny logoWhat does NOVEL stand for?  New York Online Virtual Electronic Library

What is NOVEL?  A suite of electronic databases that enables libraries across New York State to give their communities online access to the full text of hundreds of journals, newspapers and other references.

How is NOVEL funded?  NOVEL is funded through a Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) grant to the NYS library from the Federal Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS).

What do you need to access NOVEL databases from the STLS Website?  The 13 or 14-digit borrower id from your library card.

** Access provided by the Steele Memorial Library through Central Book Aid funding
