Furnishings
The Hayden Company of Rochester and New York City were the
interior decorators of the David A. Howe Public Library. They also worked for such families as the
Rockefellers, Mellons, and DuPonts.
Furniture
of different styles and woods, similar to those found in
English homes of William and Mary and Queen Anne periods, was selected to
create a welcoming and home-like atmosphere.
