Room
This room features a fireplace and small scale Windsor
chairs for the children.
A
tall maple bookcase was the only shelving in the room originally. In
keeping with the symmetry of the David A. Howe Public Library's Georgian architecture, the door to the left
of the fireplace is false, placed there only for visual balance.
The shelves here are filled with picture books for the youngest readers.
Story hours and special children's programs are held here throughout the
year.
