South Terrace Tuesdays On the Terrace 2013
Tuesdays on the Terrace 2014 Details
Tuesdays on the Terrace This Week's Menu
Due to heavy rains and thunderstorms forecast on August 12th during lunch time,  the Tuesday on the Terrace lunch is rescheduled for August 19th.
Let’s do
lunch – Tuesdays on the Terrace
will return to the David A. Howe Public Library this summer. This weekly summer event provides people with a pleasant, not to mention scenic, dining experience and it is an excellent way for our local restaurateurs to showcase some of their popular dishes.

This year’s program will feature many of the same great restaurant and catering venues as last year. Lunches will be served every Tuesday, from July 8th through August 12th (six weeks), between the hours of 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. As in previous years, meals and pricing will vary each week. Menus will be placed on the library’s website one week prior to each event, and print menus will be available at the library’s main desk. In the event of rain, lunch will be served in the library’s Reading Rooms.

Films will be shown following lunch at 1:30 pm in the Auditorium on several of the Tuesdays. All of us at the library look forward to another wonderful summer, and hope everyone can visit the library and support their favorite local eateries.

The library’s South Terrace features 16 umbrella tables and 64 comfortable seats that allow library patrons to eat, read, gather or access wireless Internet. The terrace also serves as a location for community functions and private events on the weekends between June and early September. A large central planting bed and several smaller perimeter planters provide a great ambience for eating and relaxing. The picturesque backdrop of the foothills surrounding Wellsville makes the terrace a unique experience.

Tuesdays on the Terrace is not a library fund-raiser. It is an opportunity for local businesses to showcase their culinary talents, and encourage community members to visit Wellsville’s historic downtown district and the library.

For more information, residents may call the library at (585) 593-3410 or visit the library online at www.davidahowelibrary.org. The library may also be found online using Facebook, Twitter or Flickr. The David A. Howe Public Library is located at 155 North Main Street, Wellsville.
