SPOTLIGHT ON THE LIBRARY
MARCH 5, 2002

     What do you do in your free time? What hobbies do you enjoy? Do you create wreaths and floral arrangements from dried flowers and herbs? Do you build wooden gifts? Perhaps you knit sweaters or paint furniture or work with clay or create sculptures from metal scraps. Maybe you don’t do any of those things, but are interested in learning one of them.

     During the month of March, the David A. Howe Public Library is celebrating National Craft month. Shown on our new display unit in the reference room are craft items along with numerous books from the library’s large collection of handicraft materials. Check out a book from the display, or browse the shelves for more craft ideas. Stop by the library today for titles like these:
