| SPOTLIGHT
ON THE LIBRARY |
| JANUARY
22, 2002
It’s tax time again. What better time of
the year to ponder one’s finances and future? Fill out your forms.
Mail them. Wait for your check from the government (or wait to see if
your check to them clears). When all is said and done, start the new
year out right by finding out how you can best budget your finances and
create a stable financial future.
During the month of January, the David A.
Howe Public Library has numerous tax forms available. Also featured is a
display of items that represent just some of the resources available to
be checked out containing information on finances, asset allocation, and
retirement. Books, magazines, videos, and audiocassettes are all equally
helpful. Check out titles like the following:
 | Get a Financial Life: Personal Finance in Your Twenties and
Thirties, by Beth Kobliner |
 | Wake Up and Smell the Money: Fresh Starts at Any Age – and Any
Season of Your Life, by Ginger Applegarth |
 | Retire Early – and Live the Life You Want Now: a 10-step Plan
for Reinventing Your Retirement, by John F. Wasik |
|
"Spotlight
on the Library" is a news article written by Marisa C. Hall and
