When you enter the library building, you see the main desk with David A. Howe’s portrait hovering above it and the staff members helping patrons find materials. You see shelves filled with books, old and new, and audiocassettes, videos, CD’s, and more. The numerous computers catch your eye, as do the seasonal displays. You may see people in each room browsing the shelves or chatting with each other. Eventually, you may find your way to the wing of the building that houses the children’s materials.
