This illustrated program concentrates on Allegany County where our first permanent resident settled in Elm Valley in 1795. Had he moved here in 1785 and not moved from his cabin for sixty years, he would have lived in two different states, four different counties, and at least ten different townships. Craig will explain this growth pattern.
