BUILDING FACILITIES

AFTER HOURS BOOK RETURN
The book return, located at the main entrance, is available for use when the library is closed.

MEETING ROOMS
The library has three meeting rooms for use by non-profit groups according to the Meeting Room Policy. 

MONDAY CLUB ROOM
This is the main meeting room.  It will seat about 50 people.  An Internet connection is available.

COUNTY ROOM
There are six eight-foot tables with seating for about 50.  People use this room for crafts, tutoring and club meetings.   

LOCAL HISTORY ROOM
This is open to the public for local history research.  It has one eight-foot table that also may be used for small group meetings.

EXHIBITION ROOM
The exhibition room is available for art shows and other displays throughout the year.  The room will also seat about 150 people for lectures or concerts.

KITCHEN
Groups may use the kitchen on the main floor, including the refrigerator and stove, for serving refreshments.

AUDITORIUM
The auditorium seats 340 people for concerts, plays, and informational meetings. The space is available to local groups for practices and performances throughout the year.

ACCESSIBILITY
The David A. Howe Public Library is accessible for wheelchairs and strollers via a ramp and electric door opener at the main entrance. A separate ramp serves the auditorium. There is an accessible restroom on the main level. Computers and catalog access configured for the visually or hearing impaired are available. The staff will gladly assist all patrons in retrieving books from any location in the building.

PHOTOCOPIER
A photocopier is available for public use.

FAX MACHINE
A fax machine is also available for public use.

MICROFILM READER
One microfilm reader/printer is available for researching the library's microfilm holdings.

LAPTOP AND PROJECTOR, TELEVISION, AND VCR/DVD PLAYER
These are available for public in-house meetings.
