| Access your account at the David
A. Howe Public Library through STARCat, our online public access catalog. |
Your PIN is the last four digits of your home phone number. We recommend that you change your PIN to protect your account access.
Contact
the library if you forget your PIN.
You may not place holds or renew materials if you have outstanding fines,
overdue materials, or an expired card. Contact the library to clear your
account or update your card.

From any STARCat catalog page,
click My
Account.

In the My Account box, choose an option.

Review My Account
allows you to review bills, checkouts, and current hold requests. You
can also cancel holds. To cancel a hold, you will need to:
- Enter your user ID and PIN.
- In the Holds box of your account information, check the Cancel
checkbox for the hold items to be canceled.
- Click Cancel Selected Holds to cancel the selected holds.
User
PIN Change allows you to change your PIN to keep your account
secure. You will need to:
- Type in your user ID.
- Type in your current PIN.
- Enter your new PIN twice, in the two designated areas. Your new
PIN should not exceed 10 characters.
- Click Change PIN to send the information to the library or Reset
to start over.
Renew My Materials
allows you to renew some or all of the items that you have checked out.
You will need to:
- Enter your User ID and PIN.
- Click the Renew Selected Items or the Renew All radio button.
- Click Renew Selected Items to renew your materials or Clear
Selections to start over.
